GridCore One is designed to work simply out of the box, then grow with the depth of your setup.

How simple is it to set up?

Place the device, connect optional power and optional CAN, and you’re set. GridCore can work as a standalone GPS lap timer and logger; every additional connection simply unlocks more channels.

How does it compare to AiM?

GridCore is designed to be much more modern, cloud-first with built-in 4G / 5G, and web-enabled, so you don't have to bother downloading sessions. The coaching app is web-based and cross-platform, making it easy to access useful insights even if you're not a racing engineer.

Also, GridCore comes with an included camera. No additional products are required.

How does it compare to RaceBox?

GridCore is not a direct RaceBox competitor. It is a complete motorsport stack rather than only a timing tool. GridCore can also use RaceBox as an auxiliary GPS over Bluetooth.

Does it need an ECU connection?

No. GPS timing, track detection, video and core logging work without an ECU. CAN, OBD2, Bluetooth and sensors are optional ways to add richer data.

What happens to my data?

Sessions are logged automatically in open MoTeC .ld plus raw formats. They're automatically cloud-synced so you can review them from any device via GridCore Analyze, or open them in MoTeC i2 Pro or similar tools.
